It’s a really safe city, because it is very small and the crime rate is really low. There are also only a few homeless people in the whole city. I don’t know anyone who has been mugged before in this city.

I think it’s very safe but it‘s always important to stay cautious, especially at night and around the market square because people that take drugs are usually around there. But in general, I feel very safe here.

It is very safe, of course there are places here that are safer than others, but there are many police officers and security personnel in the party area and you hardly need to be afraid.
Posted: January 27, 2025A lot of catcalling if you walk past men in certain places (near city centre) but apart from that very safe. Drunk and people on drugs at Marktplatz, during day and night. Also be ware of kids/teens asking for money to get back home by train, they’re scamming people.
