Doha is REALLY SAFE. I do not feel fear at all. Ofcourse I have to respect their culture and dress code but I’m assuming if I want be respected I also must respect them. You can walk and go alone at ANY time. Even in the night. Actually here , men wouldn’t even talk to you if you do not approach him. As by the law a man can be in jail is a woman say she felt harassed by him.

I feel very safe in doha. Everything is under video surveillance and there are security guards everywhere. i've never had a less secure feeling. you can even leave your things on the beach. Public transport is very clean, tidy and safe. there are no louts lurking around anywhere. it is also difficult to get hold of alcohol here, so there are no drunks in public.

I can’t think of any country where I will feel this safe walking alone on the streets post midnight, and this feeling would not be compromised even if I was drenched in gold head to toe. The strict laws have kept the crime rates as minimum as possible
Posted: March 18, 2025It's pretty much the safest place to visit in the world! Women are respected and have access to everything. It is recommended to wear clothing according to the cultural norm. It's the only country I feel completely safe in driving around at 3am in.
Posted: February 2, 2025You can leave your bag in the food court for 10min and you will find it . I have never get kidnapped or someone stole something from me . I love Qatar. It's very safe for solo travel. Lots of culture and food so it's suitable for all travelers. I decided to stay here for a month. Feeling very blessed. Taxi is also relatively cheap for a developed country.

Extremely safe! Safest I've ever felt anywhere. - Must-do: Arabic food, Vendome Mall, The Pearl, Katara, QNL. - Quite expensive, but worth all the money. - I can't comment on accommodation as I had a private one. - Public transport is super useful, especially he metro rail. - Uber or other ride-hailing services are also easily available.
