Kuwait is a relatively very safe country. Petty crimes are not common and even if they happen they are taken seriously here. The main issue I have is when walking alone most of the time I do experience some cat calling or street harassment, but only verbal.

Kuwait is generally safe, however it varies in what area you visit ( the city and neighbouring areas are pretty safe, industrial areas are a bit to stay away from during the night). You don’t have to worry about being robbed, though it is important to stay cautious at all times during travels. Dressing modestly is common here, so if your not you might get a few looks.
Posted: April 6, 2025Kuwait is generally a very safe country i’ve been born and raised here, although to be completely honest if you drive here people drive a little big like shit so you have to always be careful but overall i feel safe
Posted: February 6, 2025I’ve lived here most of my life. Kuwait is generally safe for solo women travelers, with low crime rates and respectful locals. Dress modestly to respect cultural norms, and exercise caution at night or in unfamiliar areas.

People mind their own…so it’s 100%safe You don’t have to walk around scanning your surroundings . As long as you are following rules and regulations of the country you’re good to go . Walking in the dark alone is not a problem at all either
Posted: January 22, 2025Be aware, stay cognizant, and you should be fine. The places are comfortable, the architecture is entertaining, and the food is good whether cultural or otherwise the standard for food tends to be high.

Depending on the area you’re in, it is comparatively safer to walk the streets. Cat-calling doesn’t exist but there are men in expat-dominated areas who tend to stare. Some areas more walking friendly than others.
Posted: September 4, 2024It is very safe, i dont have to worry about bejng mugged or robbed. But as a girl, i feel it is safer when you are not alone or with a man. It is quite safe to walk at any time, but still better not to walk alone at night.
