Hong Kong is a very safe region, but just very expensive, You can chose to stay in capsules hostel if you are limited in budget, otherwise can stay in 5star hotel is a very wonderful place to enjoy a luxury lifestyle.
Posted: August 8, 2024Hong Kong is a big city that the crime rate is quite low. I feel safe walking alone at night and have no worries about being robbed or attacked on streets as a citizen here. But still have to be aware while you are at some district. Most of the time and places are safe and have no worries.
Posted: July 23, 2024There's little violent crime in Hong Kong. Everywhere is mostly safe at night. Hong Kong consistently ranks among the lowest in the world for terrorist incidents and natural disasters (which places it above Japan on the safety scale in our books). If anything were to happen, Hong Kong boasts extremely reliable police and emergency services.

Hong Kong is a moon the safest places on Earth. You can walk day or night without being harassed by anyone. Theft is punished by a $10,000 HK$ fine and imprisonment. If you lose something on the street you can be sure someone will call out for your attention, signaling the item you dropped.
Posted: June 20, 2024It is very safe in Hong Kong. For example, if you put your phone on the table in a restaurant, nobody will take it. Or if you even forget your phone in the restaurant, you may still get it back after many hours.
Posted: June 12, 2024Public places are all very safe. Even drunk & taken super late night taxi is safe. Until you go off public territory with unknown people all is well even for girls & even late nights. Taxi drivers are usually polite & responsible & one even turned up back to return my mobile phone.
Posted: June 12, 2024Totally safe in Hong Kong. It’s okay to go out alone from morning to night. Also i’s super convenient for traffic, there are public transport to everywhere so you no need to take cars alone. But still keep your eyes with your own properties.
Posted: June 11, 2024Since HK is a metropolitan city with wide branches of public transport, it is totally safe in tourist areas Even in less busy areas the security is also good as there are many security cameras Due to my job I always go home late at around 22:00 after my shift, and yet I don't have any worries of being stalked or followed and I can take the public transport home without the fear of missing the last train/bus However as the city is very populated, beware of physical touches during busy hours on trains as the train is soooooooo packed with people Also, find hotels with good reviews and ratings. The government usually will issue the licence to qualified hotels and inns
Posted: May 30, 2024Hong Kong is a diverse city with lots of cultural history and events. Even though there are famous tourists spots, I personally recommend local art events such as exhibitions, workshops and festivals etc.
Posted: May 19, 2024Most areas are safe to walk around at night even in the late hours. Most people, especially ladies don’t have trouble going home late at night. A few areas would have people who could look at you funny, but this is usually at night in dodgy areas or less affluent districts.
