This is a pretty safe place compared to most places! Like any city after it gets late there are people drinking around and that’s when it gets a bit less safe. During the day it’s great! I’ve never felt unsafe walking around here but there’s a bit of toxic masculinity I noticed sometimes nothing major however!
Posted: November 25, 2024Local people are really helpful and nice. They will help you if you are in need. I feel safe in the city and also around the beaches. Also it’s a small town that welcomes a lot of tourists so people are use to share with foreigners.

Currently living in Tahiti, I’m from Marquesas Island (French Polynesia). I’ve lived in France and Madrid before that. I enjoy travelling and share new experiences with people.
