Barranquilla is a great place, the people are nice and very happy, you can dance and the food is amazing. Sadly the insecurity is real and the people mostly women feel unprotected. You need to be careful where you go, and always takes uber or indriver, and give this inform to someone close to you.
Posted: August 15, 2024If you are in the north of the city, it is pretty safe. it is a really beautiful city, and compared with other places on the country, it is really safe. Just make sure to not display anything flashy and you will be fine
