You can safely walk around the city at night. There are drunk men sometimes, but you can just avoid them, and everything will be fine. Almost all streets are lit at night, and I've never encountered any robbery during the day or night.
Posted: April 9, 2025It’s okay. For real. Specially if you’re not alone. But I’m okay. It’s more an anxiety thing for me:) I walk alone in 4am after bar to home in the summer. But the walk itself like 20 min. Just know that some places aren’t for good girls in men opinion. Like clubs, bar. But I feel safe because there are bodyguards.

Minsk is a great city. Our people like travellers from all over the world and are always hospitable. We have delicious cuisine, nice places to go for any taste and personality. Besides Minsk, there are so many places to see outside it. The nature is magnificent. If you are interested you can google places like Yelnya Reserve, National Park Belovezhskaya Pushcha, Palesse.
Posted: April 18, 2024Minsk is a great city! It’s clean, beautiful, and safe. The food is delicious, the people are friendly, and the climate is mild. Nyamiha and the Minsk Hero City Obelisk are must-visit spots. We ate at local cafés and bought food from supermarkets — it was cheap and tasty. We stayed at Urban Hostel — highly recommended!
