Arailym
Hi everyone. My name is Arailym. I'm 26. Currently I live in Oskemen, Kazakhstan, and I graduated from the Kazakh-American Free University. I come from Katonkaragay village in East Kazakhstan, located in one of the most beautiful national parks in our country. It’s home to the magical Mount Belukha, which is popular among many spiritual seekers who visit it to find harmony and restore their energy. I lived there for 18 years, and it’s a truly beautiful place. Every summer, I visit my grandparents there. I enjoy mushroom hunting, though my family usually goes to the mountains to gather berries, which I avoid due to my allergies. I love learning new things and always try to find ways to improve myself. During my school years, I took dombyra (a Kazakh traditional musical instrument) classes for five years. One of my favorite quotes is: “Compare yourself to who you were yesterday.” I strive to live by it. I visited Germany last April. It was the very first country I ever visited and, of course, an unforgettable experience. I was there for 1 month. I had a chance to visit Neuschwanstein castle, Füssen, München. I lived mainly in Zwickau (Sachsen). I had a chance to visit the beautiful city — Salzburg, Austria. The home of Mozart. I also visited Basel, Switzerland. All thanks to Deutsche Bahn ticket. It's so great I wish other countries had something similar. With friends we also visited Paris, Milan, Rome, and Barcelona. We spent 1 or 2 days in each city. Too little time to explore, but we visited the most famous places. This summer I am going to go to the USA for International Leadership Experience. It's part of KAFU program. I will go with a friend. We would like to visit New York, Boston, Miami, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Denver. I would be thrilled to find people who could host us for a day or 2.

Very introverted person who loves to meet new people 😄 I love to listen people more than talking myself, so i am looking forward to know about you ☺️

I felt myself safe, but i didn't walk alone during nights, only during a daylight. There aren't that many attractions to visit, but I felt myself more calm there. After being surrounded by city noise for a long time, I felt like Kokshetau was a calming reset place for me.
Posted: April 17, 2025Experienced: February, 2025I loved Kazakhstan and with a clear heart I can recommend it. Almaty and Astana are amazing cities, and the Tien Shan mountains are astounding. People in Kazakhstan are also some of the friendliest I have ever met, and I felt so safe there.
