I felt safe in Jordan, I was on a tour but the guide told us that they do not follow Islamic law but one where women have rights legally. The only thing I didn’t like was in Amman this child was following me for half a block saying “give me money.”
Posted: September 11, 2023Jordan is safe and the people are friendly. I explored Petra in one intense day and I managed to see the vast majority of the sites. Wadi Rum is wonderful. I definitely spent too little time there. It's great to see it at different times of the day - from sunrise to sunset. The colors are incredible. I recommend staying with the Bedouins and going on a safari. As for transportation, there were four of us and we rented a car.
Posted: September 1, 2023I spent several days alone in Jordan and a few days sharing a car with other people because public transportation is not very regular. I felt safe but you need to be aware of the scammers in Petra. I was in Petra for 3 days and it was definitely too much. I think 1 intense day would have been enough. I spent one day in Wadi Rum, sleeping under the stars, and that was the most wonderful.
Posted: August 30, 2023Approximately how much money did you spend at Petra Jordan for food/drink/souvenirs? I have a tour booked so entrance fees/tip are covered but I'm unsure how much money I should convert to Jordanian dinar as I'll only be in Jordan one day (land crossing from Israel).
Posted: December 13, 2022Hey ladies, do you know if it is possible to fly a drone in Jordania? Also, any recommendations to rent a car?
Posted: November 25, 2022I will go to Jordan next year, so excited ! Looking for any suggestion and advice, from accommodations to places to see. We are renting a car.
Posted: November 24, 2022I’m thinking of visiting Wadi Rum desert in Jordan for 3 days (2 nights) but unfortunately, my budget is very small. Anyone of you has done that kind of tours? Do you have any suggestions maybe (tour guides etc)? I’d appreciate it a lot. I just want to make sure that I will book something legit and safe.
