H, my name is Alitxhe, I am 26 and love traveling and connecting with people. I currently live in Dublin and work for homeless services. I have great drive towards social struggles and collective fights. Try to deconstruct my colonial-patriarchical upbringing and challenge what I give for granted. I hope to continue this difficult process and meet strong souls along the way.

based on 30 experiences
I visited Dublin with my family during summer last July. I feel quite safe in Dublin. But in my opinion there were many homeless people in the streets and also many garbage bags. I would like to recommend visiting Howth which is nearby Dublin by train. I also visited the EPIC museum about Irish Emigration, this museum was very interesting and also interactive.
Posted: March 14, 2024Experienced: June, 2023I enjoyed my time as a solo traveler in Dublin! There is definitely plenty to do around the city, and 2 days was not enough for it all. I felt relatively safe alone in the city- I stayed on Abbey St and explored the Temple Bar & surrounding areas alone at night and never felt threatened. There was occasionally begging but that was about the only time I was approached.
Posted: February 17, 2024I recommend booking tours in advance (Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College, etc) as they can get pretty full. Walking around is also a great way of visiting the city and getting an idea of what the vibe is like.
