It was an awesome experience i loved each and everything about Iran. Food was not on the mark but overall it was not at all expensive. As a female solo traveler we can travel alone safely. Alot of spritual and natural destinations are there to explore.
Posted: July 12, 2024Experienced: March, 2022Hello, Regarding the political situation, Iran is also safe for women to travel. I first went alone but soon met other people and had the best experience. The culture, the food, the countryside—it was really great. I highly recommend Hormuz Island in the very south!

I spent a wonderful time in Iran for 6 weeks a few years ago. I also had the opportunity to try couchsurfing, which was a great experience. My hosts were very nice and took me to various places, driving me around. I stayed in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Yazd and on Kish Island, and even went on a one-day trip to Meybod and Persepolis.
Posted: May 15, 2023I spent 10 days in Iran. I traveled 1300 km alone with a backpack and didn't have any problems at all, it was really very easy to carry out, and the country had good infrastructure. People were very hospitable. They didn't speak English very often, however, they tried to use Google Translate or call a friend to translate, so communication was good. I stayed in hostels and used couch surfing. This is the most amazing country I've ever visited.
