Honduras is a beautiful country. I spent a month there. Ruins at Copan, National Parks, Utila and Roatan were my favorites. I did go all over Roatan and there is so much more to Roatan than West Bay and West End. Adventure around. I stayed at Roatan Backpackers in a private room. A container home. Awesome and cheap.
Posted: December 18, 2022I loved Honduras and is definitely worth going to as long as you have common sense. I split my time between Copan and Roatan and felt safe in both those more touristy places. We had to travel through San Pedro Sula which I didn't feel too comfortable during that journey.
Posted: November 26, 2022Good morning girls :) Has any of you ever travelled through Honduras and/or Guatemala? I'm considering travelling over land from Nicaragua to Belize, but hear a lot of negative stories about safety. How did you feel when you travelled there? Were you alone or with a friend? Thanks!
