Is Honduras safe to travel?
Solo travel experience
I loved Honduras and it's definitely worth going there, provided you have common sense. I split my time between Copan and Roatan and felt safe in both of these more touristy places. We had to travel through San Pedro Sula, during which journey I did not feel too comfortable.

Honduras is a beautiful country. I spent a month there. The ruins in Copan, national parks, Utila, and Roatan were my favorites. I traveled all over Roatan and there is much more there than just West Bay and West End. There are many adventures. I stayed at Roatan Backpackers in a private room. The container house. Amazing and cheap.
