About me

About me

My name is Cat, I’m 29, and I’m searching for ways to travel on a budget. I would like to find a place to stay in Miami for a month, and in return I can host your stay in Santiago, DR. I look forward to talking and hopefully meeting you!

Is Dominican Republic safe for female travelers?

Dominican Republic, Solo travel

You are safe at all times but there is an insane amount of catcalling everywhere you go. Amazing Italian food, but little curious local dishes (and nothing if you are vegetarian/vegan). BEAUTIFUL country island though. I personally stayed far away from Punta Cana and Santo Domingo, there is way too much beauty to be found without the annoying vacationers and gentrified areas
