My very first solo trip. Experienced snow for the very first time. Found walking in the snow tricky which is quiet contrary to what it seems. People are friendly, it's safe and overall very pleasant experience.
Posted: February 12, 2024I spent 6 days on a solo trip in Armenia. My favorite place in Yerevan was the Modern Arts Museum, a really beautiful collection of artwork. I also took 3 day tours out of the city, all of them very affordable. I loved Noravank Monastery, Garni Temple, and Tsaghkador the most. Felt very safe being alone.

I was there for 2 weeks and practically ate my way through all of Armenia. The prices are reasonable, places are interesting, people are nice and friendly. Overall, it's worth it. Delicious wines and plenty of monasteries.
Posted: October 19, 2023Wonderful people, a place not yet touched by mass tourism, and a million trails leading to forgotten mountain churches. I recommend purchasing a local SIM card. It costs very little and significantly facilitates travel, especially in communication with accommodation facilities.
