Hi all! I didn’t have much time in Bishkek. But all in all experience of just walking around and visiting parks + the National History Museum (better organized than in Almaty, KZ btw!) made me happy. All in all people are helpful, I didn’t feel pressure or anything.

I would recommend this trip to everyone who loves nature and hiking! And horses! The country is pretty safe and locals are very welcoming (I’m a white blonde women saying this). I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. They are Muslims but not really strict so you don’t need to cover much. The nature is stunning and the hikes are really accessible. Would ho back!

It's my first time in Kyrgyzstan, as well as middle asia! I have a great trip there, especially during the hikes and the three days horse trekking. I met two Filipino women and became friends during the trekking with them

It's so a beautiful city and has a lot of interesting places. I love my hometown. However, it is not really safe for girls who want to walk at night city. That environment will be confusing if you go there alone.

I have felt very safe in this country. The local people are very helpful! The biggest danger is the way people drive their cars around here in my opinion. But once you get used to it, that is fine too.
Posted: July 31, 2025I would say our city is pretty safe. People here are willing to help in case of emergency. No pickpockets. Unfortunately, in Kyrgyzstan, there are some men with a very low level of social responsibility — they may insult women, commit domestic violence, or engage in harassment. But fortunately, in my large circle of friends and acquaintances, there are no such people.
