Thessaloniki is a safe city in general. The city centre there are always people around. The west areas of the city are not safe neither at night or the morning. If you search for a stay probably centre and eastward is a better solution.
Posted: April 1, 2024The center of Thessaloniki is pretty safe. These days is more filled with immigrants but in general they mind their own business. For sure avoiding certain dark alleys is recommended but I personally haven't experienced any bad behavior at all, even in dark alleys
