I visited Prague with friends in July 2023 I recommend it very much It’s a city where you can walk everywhere without it being too steep, but if you prefer there’s also reliable transportation. We felt very safe, the locals were all very friendly and welcoming. I suggest visiting the main attractions but also the Hebrew cemetery with a guide it’s very interesting. The food is very good but be prepared to eat a lot of meat, but there are also a lot of options for vegan/vegetarian people
Posted: April 15, 2024I spent a few days in Prague alone recently. I walked around late at night and never felt unsafe. It was the most magical city I have ever visited.
Posted: March 30, 2024I felt very safe trough the whole trip. I arrived in the night to the town but I do not had to worry about my safety. I was not satisfied with the food, meanwhile tried to choose restaurants with good reviews. It has good sights, pretty walkable city. You can see all in 2 days.
Posted: March 3, 2024Experienced: December, 2022Prague is a perfect place to travel alone, it's safe and people are very polite. The food is so delicious I recommend the knedliky. The transportation is great and well organised it's easy to explore the city by foot or move with the transports the only thing is to be careful about the tickets

I felt 100% safe! I visited all the main attractions by placing "pins" on Google Maps to create an itinerary. Transportation is so easy. However, I moved around by taxi using the BOLT app! Very efficient. I stayed in an Airbnb at the top of a building with a view of the city and the red roofs ❤️ It was beautiful. First snow seen from my balcony. The apartment was PERFECT. I did not keep track of my expenses at all. 10 days Budapest-Prague-Vienna = 7000$ CAD. Quite expensive, but I didn't deprive myself of anything. The food is not expensive either, but not memorable for me. Really, I went there to explore! The people are super welcoming and kind (more than in Hungary 😅) One of the most beautiful trips of my life.
Posted: January 30, 2024I loved Prague. Beautiful city, the language is quite easy to communicate, and the food is really good. Charles Bridge and Hradcany are places that you must see. I felt very safe.
Posted: December 28, 2023It was a nice visit. The Food was cheap and tasty. The city has a lot of Parks and you can stroll around in Lots of nature. On the other side you have lots of historical old buildings and the Locals are very nice. Most of them speak good english so there is absolut no language Barrier. We felt very safe and would definetly Travel again to prague🙂

We were an all female group and felt very safe overall. I really enjoyed the Prague castle, I’d recommend it to any History interested person! Petrin tower was very cool as well! We mostly ate local cuisine and spent around 100€ for three days (per person).
Posted: December 2, 2023Beautiful city for a weekend break. Entirely walkable and safe for female travellers. All must see sights are within a short walking distance. We booked a hop on/hop off bus tour which in retrospect was not needed, so definately one to skip
Posted: November 28, 2023I felt safe walking around at night, public transportation was crowded but easy to use, I took tours around the city, learning so much history. I can't recommend enough, but prepare yourself for cobblestones.

Prague is safe during the day, at night it is not, but only in some places as the main square .. You dont need to worry being alone on the street, there are always some people around. But just avoid completely dark places and streets, there are usually some homeless people, begging for money. But as a local here, i ve had only one bad experience with sexual harassment, i live here since 2015.
Posted: April 2, 2024I lived in Prague for 2 years and never felt unsafe. There were several times when I had to walk home at 3 am and never felt unsafe. Central Station is a little bit sketchy, but never has any issues late at night.
Posted: March 29, 2024In my opinion Prague and the Czech Republic at all are one of the safest places in the world. Of course when you’re travelling alone especially at night you have to be careful. But at all I think I feel safe most of the time.
Posted: March 14, 2024Prague Is located in one to the safest countries in the world, i lived here for most of my life, and the only thing you really have to worry about is pickpocketing, especially in public transportation, but overally very safe place.

I went to Prague. It was so attractive and peaceful. There were many people from other countries. I liked it. Prague was a little bit expensive. I tried terdelnik and I liked dessert. If you are thinking of going, I recommend it.
Posted: March 31, 2024Experienced: February, 2024Prague is a fairly safe city, very pretty and well organized. It's affordable and has a lot to offer. I had underestimated it but it managed to surprise me. Also, the food is really good and the people are very kind.. I hope to go back!
