Have you been to Malta before? What tips do you have for a 3-4 week stay in Birzebugga and Valletta?

I am travelling to Malta and wondering if any of you might have any tips, suggestions on things to do and see etc? I have booked accommodation in the area of Birzebugga and would like to visit the ancient landmarks. I also plan to stay in Valletta at some point too. I plan to be there for around 3-4 weeks. It will be my first time in Malta :-) Thank you kindly
