TravelHas anyone taken the train from Bangkok to Chaing Mai?

I’m traveling to Thailand in January!! Has anyone taken the train from Bangkok to Chaing Mai?! I’m wondering if it being scenic is worth the 12 hour trip or if I should do a 1.5 hour flight instead?

I took the overnight train from Bangkok to Chiangmai so I’m not sure if it has scenic views but it is very safe for sure and quite comfortable.
