Solo travelHas anyone been to Iceland in December? Is it safe to rent a car and drive?

I have been there the 2 last years from march until November. There will definitely be snow and wind. All cars have to have snow tires on them. It’s hit and miss with road closures depending how far you want to go. If you want to travel the ring road all the way around it will be tricky as there are many mountain roads that could be closed in the north. If you are used to driving in snow and you aren’t driving in the north it could be done. If you aren’t used to snow driving I would go for a group travel.
