How safe is Brunei?

Brunei

Brunei is a small Muslim country on the island Borneo with a small population of 400,000 people. Everybody basically knows everyone, and if you do anything bad you get exposed and everyone will know what you did. There is a peer pressure to not do bad things because gossip will occur where people say “that person’s cousin/family did something, etc”. Petty theft and crime still occur but it is rare and usually for household items such as stove gas containers. There are rarely confrontations. There is also a strict punishment for thieves of cutting hands under sharia law. Bruneian people are friendly and welcoming, especially to foreigners, and most of the younger generation speaks english.

Brunei

Brunei is a really quiet and safe country. Even though there's not a lot to do here but it is sure a place where you can just come and be isolated from the world. Food selections are a lot if people do not worry about weight because there's a lot of unhealthy food choices here, and that's saying something, but We do have healthy food choices too.

Is Brunei worth visiting?

Brunei, Solo travel

Brunei is very safe, but not super interesting. I stayed there for 3 days. I took a boat tour on the river and saw lots of monkeys.
