I stopped my college year to give myself the opportunity to travel and learn from other countries and people. It has been the best decision I ever took.

Experiences from Uruguay

I was in Uruguay in June and stayed in Montevideo for five days with my parents. We did a day trip to the UNESCO world heritage city of Colonia. Montevideo reminded me of Madrid, the sights and people - conservative, kind, and helpful. I took a really nice tango lesson, ate amazing paella, and walked along Las Ramblas. Uruguay is one of the more expensive countries in Latin America, particularly with regard to clothing and meals. Our Airbnb was inexpensive as were taxis.
