Hi I am Sky, I am currently working as a Global Application Analyst where we implement Microsoft Dynamics across the globe. The company send me to different countries to conduct training so I get the chance to do side trips after work. I do solo travel especially during weekends to see places, culture, history, food to name a few. I would also like to host female travelers when you visit Manila, Philippines.

Hello, mabuhay from the Philippines!🇵🇭I am a bit shy but also an ambivert, family oriented so I usually go with my family but I wish to go solo travel as recently I'm opening myself up to what the world offers. The world is wide; I'd like to have nostalgic moments with people, hear thoughts and opinions, and experience various cultures/cuisines /practices/uniqueness. As I grow older and wiser, I've come to appreciate the beauty of living; simple things, the mundanenesses of life. I reckon people enjoy every single time as much without high-cost. A fervent believer that experience is priceless! Moreover, traveling is not only for leisure; I want to live like a local, move around without having to be rushed, talk to random strangers, get lost in unfamiliar places, know history, see art, learn something new, walk endlessly, help others, laugh a lot, make mistakes, learn, discover myself, and for most to love and be at ease knowing life is mostly uncomfortable. I'm philosophical and willing to exchange wisdom. With that given, yes, I'm a conversationalist but also timid, especially to strangers (I know it's ironic, lol). I importantly surround myself with positive energy as I grind. Life is hard enough; as humans, it's better to treat others cordially.✨ Tell me anything you want to, I can lend my ears, be an active listener, amenable, empathic!😊

I felt very safe in Philipinen. I traveled about 2 months in this beautiful country and most of the time i spent it with locals.. I learned how to dance Budots, hiked on the Vulcans island, dived at beautiful coral gardens. People are so nice especially in Mindanao.
Posted: June 27, 2024I spent 3 weeks in the Philippines in April. I stayed in Cebu, Bohol, and Siquijor. I have the fondest memories of Siquijor, a fantastic, peaceful, beautiful island full of attractions. Very safe, with incredibly friendly and helpful locals. The best experience I had was Cebu canyoneering at Kawasan Falls. If you go to Bohol, I recommend the Tarsier Sanctuary. There is a bit of bureaucracy, but it's worth going through. Arriving in early April I had two typhoons circulating around, so it was rainy and cloudy for a few days, but then the sun came out.

Amazing destination !!!! With my best friend we’ve traveled during three weeks around Siquijor - Bohol- Coron - El Nido and Siargao ! And it was the perfect order of preferences. Island Hopping, markets, chasing waterfalls, snorkeling, diving,… there are plenty of activity so there’s no way you can get bored. One of my most beautiful trip ever.
Posted: June 14, 2024The Philippines was one of the countries on my list during my solo trip to Southeast Asia. I also visited Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Qatar. If someone asked me which country in Asia I liked the most, I would say it was the Philippines. Somehow, I felt best there, most experienced the local climate. People were wonderful, smiling, funny, talkative and friendly. And of course, nature was also breathtaking. I stayed in hostels, where I met many interesting people from different parts of the world, as well as many Filipinos. The food was not as refined as in Thailand or Vietnam, but it was quite good. I rode a motorcycle, swam under waterfalls, and savored Filipino beer.
