Nearest airport to me is Clark (2-3 hrs from Manila) and it is also a recommended gateway to Cebu and Palawan, so you'll skip the hectic capital. Am available on weekends. In my travels, I also allocate language / culture exchange and volunteer opportunities. I like to hike and the outdoors; I scaled the highest mountain in the Philippines in November 2023. Siquijor, Solo travel
Siquijor is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. It is not too built up or overrun by tourism. I don't dive but apparently it is a great location for this. There are lots of marine sanctuaries where you can snorkel right from the beach, over coral and amazing fish, sometimes even turtles or porpoise if you're lucky. It's not the most accessible island if you dont rent a scooter or a tour driver for the day, but if you're happy to just soak in natural beauty and watch the world go...
