Hi I’m Ashleigh, I have been travelling around Europe for the past 6 weeks solo. I am Australian through and through and have loved meeting new people and hearing their life stories. I am still travelling until my 90 days in the shenanigan zone run out before I have to go home. I’m quite extraverted and love to chat over food and wine. I am quite a good cook. I have some crazy stories I would love to share and a lot I have learnt about solo travelling that I would love to share if you’re interested. I love to read, the sun, talking to people and taking in the small things.

I've caught the travel bug, and am looking to cut down on expenses by hopefully couchsurfing along my travels. I am friendly and outgoing, but appreciate quiet time too. I'm very clean and tidy to the point I've been called OCD. I love animals and my spirit animal is some sort of cat. I'm a Leo and I'm pretty funny and love to laugh!

Hi everyone ☺️ I’m a 30 year old Australian studying Spanish in Spain and enjoying travelling through Spain and Europe. I love people and my friends! I really am a warm person and can connect with lots of people to enjoy the moment and try new things 😍 I am very far from home and so happy to experience the amazing cultures within Europe. I love that so many countries are in one continent and they are so accessible. I would love to be hosted throughout Europe if possible. And to also connect with others through language and hobbies. I Couchsurfed throughout the United States and have travelled throughout Central/South America, Asia and Africa so now it’s time for Europe 😍 If you are interested in Australia and the culture I can Definetly give you tips and advice as it’s an amazing country and I’ve lived in three of the main cities there! Sending hugs! Maeve Xx

Hi there :) I’m a super friendly and easy going Australian who loves travel and meeting new people. I’m interested in couch surfing for a week in Amsterdam come the 1st of August and would be so happy to meet you! I would love to help with anything round the place in return and I also love to cook! I have a range of interests so I’m sure we will find some things in common and have a great week :)

Bit of a boring city tbh but felt safe and was cool to see the opera house. Think it just lacked the personality of Melbourne and other aussie beach towns. Would reccomend bondi beach, Melbourne or magnetic island over sydney

Sydney is a beautiful city with lots of beaches, shops and bars! I have lived in Sydney my whole life and these are a few of my recommendations: - Download Tripview! It is an app that makes public transportation very easy and understandable. - Bondi Beach is pretty overrated if you ask most locals. If you want an alternative that is still beautiful but less busy, Palm Beach is stunning! - Nightlife isn’t great and clubs are pretty strict. There are restrictions on alcohol consumption like shots or double pours. Also, the clubs in the city are pretty quiet during the week. - There are many national parks in and around Sydney so if you can rent a car I would highly recommend visiting the Royal National Park. - Take a ferry trip to Manly! It’s a quick 20 min ride from Circular Quay (city) and you get to explore a whole new area including beaches and markets on the weekends.

I loved Sydney! I felt safe all the time. I don't go out in the evening though so can't really say for the night time but no problem during the day. People were always super nice and happy to help. It's super easy to go around, bus, train, ferry, perfect. I'm on a low budget so didn't really eat outside but there's good prices in the shops. 2 fav spots : Manly and Bronte Beach ⛱️
